Description
Concrete Form Oil is formulated to impart a separation film to both wood and metal casting concrete forms. This non-staining material consist of light mineral oil combined with a corrosion inhibitor and a tackifier agent to allow better than average cling tendencies to forms. The combination of ingredients physically repels both water and concrete. The product is designed to be non-toxic and does not require a red label.
Application
For applications to forms prior to concrete placement to facilitate form removal following concrete set. It is ready to use but can be diluted with mineral spirits or other aliphatic solvents for spray application control. However, the operator/applicator should avoid puddles, runs, and excessive spray drift. The product can be stored, as well as applied, below freezing temperatures when necessary. It can be used on forms that have been previously treated with form oil.
