Wireline Lubricant is a specialized high viscosity product formulated for wireline and cable lubrication in the petroleum down-hole exploration/production industry and other applications for the critical lubrication of high capacity braided-cable systems. The lubricant is blended to provide proper cable oiliness, friction-reduction characteristics, corrosion resistance, and oxidation protection over a wide temperature range.
